Here's John Wayne: The Lucchese Story
Cowgirl Up with Lucchese Boots for Women
Because even cowgirls want to look delicious while upon their lofty steed, a sexy pair of cowgirl boots is a must have for women who enjoy sporting a western style wardrobe.
When it comes to western boots, none can remotely compare to the unique handmade styles designed by Lucchese. Handcrafted in West Texas since 1883, Lucchese boots are regarded as the boot of choice for many celebrities, like John Wayne, Michael Jordan, Karl Malone, George Bush, as well as several other American Presidents.
Lucchese has earned its solid reputation by using only the finest leathers and skilled craftsmen. A lifestyle born in the American West, Lucchese gives boots a truly authentic western look and feel that is second to none.
I bought a pair of custom made, one-of-a-kind Stingray boots from Lucchese several years ago. They cost over $800, but I absolutely love wearing them and get so many compliments when I do, that it was well worth the money. They are very comfortable, and though I wear them riding quite frequently, they still look brand new! I basically told them what I wanted, drew them a picture, and you can imagine my delight when they made the boots for me in about 8 weeks. And, what I love about them the most, is that there are no other boots like them anywhere! They made them just for little ol' me and that makes me special hence that is why I love Lucchese boots!
Included below are the hottest styles for women for 2008 and will undoubtedly remain on the hot list for years to come.

WOW boots cost as much as a good used car! But I guess you get alot of milage out of em anyway huh? This article gives me a whole new respect for them boots.. I used to own a pair when I was a kid, most compfortable shoe I ever wore.. just can't work them into my current style of dress though.. but at 400.00+ not sure if I can afford the endulgence .. great article.. thanks for putting in all the work!
My husband works at a Western Cowboy (and Cowgirl) art and history museum in AZ. The big exhibit is Cowgirl Up! with a specially made boot as the grand prize. I'm sure it cost well over $800. Cowboy style is it's own special niche market, but there are some really amazing things out there. I'm thinking of a parade outfit that was made for a wealthy rancher out here. She has since passed on. All gold lame (sp?) with fringes and matching boots, plus a matching saddle for her horse. You had to see it. Fun hub!
I recently discovered Lucchese boots and really love them. They're so comfortable and beautifully made, especially the Italian Corded designs.
